The Celestine Prophecy
I didn't know this was based on a book. Otherwise, I would have chosen to read the book first. I still may. This movie was not a high budget, great acting kind of movie. But the psychological and spiritual message that in conveys was moving. The image that comes to me every time I interact with people was the movies depiction of how my energy interacts with other people and their energy interacts with me.
The image of wisps of energy moving towards each other like spider webs floating in a gentle breeze. They begin to interact, mesh, complement, or contradict. I can feel it when I am around a strong personality. I can feel their energy field moving in to mine. Pushing and moving around and trying to move through me, control me. A pervasive energy that tries to take and manipulate.
Likewise, I can feel when my energy is directed towards someone. I visualize how I feel about myself and towards the other person. Am I trying to control, manipulate, take or am I trying to help, encourage, and foster a spiritual and harmonious relationship.
I know I sound like I'm just spewing a bunch of spiritual fluff. Perhaps that's all it is. But is it helpful for me to see when someone has negative energy, or when I have negative energy and act or react accordingly. With all things it takes practice. Practice harmony with others is much more difficult that selfishly moving through the world taking.
